These terms (Terms) cover the use of the BMO Wrap the Good (Program) website and all related features and functionality, including the Program’s “Unwrap the Good” WebAR experience (Website). 

You accept these Terms by creating a Program account and/or through your access of the Website.

Privacy:

  1. Each user of the Website expressly consents to Bank of Montreal and its affiliates (BMO) storing, sharing and using the personal information submitted for the purpose of administering the Program and in accordance with BMO’s Privacy Code, available at bmo.com/privacy. This section does not limit any other consent(s) that an individual may provide BMO or others in relation to the collection, use and/or disclosure of their personal information. 

 

BMO Promo Codes:

  1. The Program includes the ability to earn BMO Promo Codes (Codes) that can be applied towards the purchase of qualifying products or services from participating retailers (Retailers) featured on the Website.  Codes are subject to the following terms and conditions:
    1. Codes expire on December 31, 2024 at 11:59:59 p.m. EST
    2. Codes cannot be redeemed in relation to any of the following businesses (despite the fact that such businesses may be featured on the Website):
      1. Queen’s Crown Essentials
      2. Herb Lore
      3. aL chocoLat Boutique
      4. Quinn’s Blooms and Greenery
      5. Match Candle Co.
    3. Codes may otherwise be redeemed towards the purchase of any product(s) or service(s) on a Retailer’s website (excluding gift cards) between November 2, 2024 and December 31, 2024 at 11:59:59 p.m. EST (Program Period).  Codes: 
      1. cannot be applied to past transactions; 
      2. have no cash surrender or other value;
      3. are only valid in relation to completed online transactions on a Retailer’s website (submitted and paid) during the Program Period;
      4. may only be redeemed in relation to Retailer products and/or services that exceed the value of the Code (excluding taxes) (i.e. the pre-tax value of any product(s) or service(s) purchased by a customer using a Code must exceed the discount value of the Code); 
      5. must be provided by customer at time of purchase with Retailer; and
      6. will be available in the currency (USD or CAD) as charged by the applicable Retailer (e.g. if a Retailer displays prices and charges USD, the Code value will be USD. If a Retailer displays prices and charges CAD, the Code value will be CAD).
    4. There is a limit of one (1) Code per purchase (i.e. Codes cannot be combined with any other Code or Codes).
    5. Any questions relating to use and redemption of Codes on a Retailer website must be directed to the applicable Retailer and not BMO.
    6. Any pricing displayed on the Website is for information purposes only.  Prices shown are based on an exchange rate of $1.00 CAD to $0.73 USD as of October 17, 2024. This information may vary as exchange rates are subject to change at any time.  Please see the Retailer’s website for current pricing.
    7. OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES: 
      1. If due to a printing, production, online, internet, computer, technical or other error of any kind whatsoever, more Codes (or more Codes of a particular type) are claimed than intended to be distributed, then BMO has the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to terminate the Program immediately and to rescind invalid Code claims.  
      2. If it is discovered by BMO (using any evidence or other information made available to or otherwise discovered by BMO) that any person has attempted to: (i) falsely use a Code without legitimately obtaining a Code in accordance with these Terms; and/or (ii) use a Code that has been falsified, manipulated or otherwise altered in any way (all as determined by BMO in its sole and absolute discretion); then they may be disqualified from participating in the Program.

 

Third Party Websites, Products and Services:

  1. Links from this Website to websites not under the control of BMO, including those of the third party businesses featured on the Website, are provided solely for the convenience of visitors to the Website in connection with the Program and do not imply the endorsement or approval of such third party websites, products or services. BMO is not responsible for the accuracy, currency or reliability of the content of external websites, does not offer any guarantee in that regard and is not responsible for the information found through these links. BMO does not give any representation regarding the quality, safety, suitability, or reliability of any external websites or any of the content or materials contained in them, including third party products and services. 
  2. Connecting via the links to third party sites on the Website is done at your own risk.  It is important for users to take necessary precautions, especially to help ensure appropriate safety from viruses, worms, Trojan horses and other potentially destructive items.

    When visiting external websites, users should review those websites’ privacy policies and other terms of use to learn more about, what, why and how they collect and use any personally identifiable information.

  3. BMO does not endorse or guarantee any of the businesses featured on the Website in connection with the Program or their respective products or services. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the external websites, products or services must be directed to the third party business and not BMO.

 

Your Communications with Third Parties:

  1. You are solely responsible for all communications with any third parties in relation to this Program. The Released Parties (defined below) are not responsible for, and accept no liability whatsoever in relation to, communications that are sent by you to other individuals or entities. You will not receive anything from BMO for the act of sharing information about this Program. 

 

Trademarks:

  1. Certain names, logos, icons, designs, words, titles or phrases on this Website are trade names, or trademarks owned by BMO or licensed to them. The display of trademarks on this Website does not imply that a license of any kind has been granted to anyone else. Any unauthorized downloading, re-transmission or other copying or modification of trademarks and/or the contents on this Website is prohibited.

 

General:

  1. BMO reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel this Program in any way, at any time, for any reason whatsoever as determined by BMO in its sole and absolute discretion.
  2. You accept and agree that the purchase and use of any third product products and services featured on the Website is at your sole risk. You agree to release BMO, its associated and affiliated entities, advertising/promotion agencies or any other individual(s), entity or entities involved in the development, production, implementation, administration or fulfillment of the Program and each of their respective agents, employees, shareholders officers, directors, members, agents, successors and assigns (collectively, the Released Parties) from any liability in any way connected with or arising out of the Program, including any claim based on personal injury, death, or loss or damage to property, arising from or incurred in connection with the Program, including and not limited to your purchase and use of any third party product(s) or service(s) featured on the Website or otherwise. 
  3. The Released Parties will not be liable for: (i) any failure of the Website, Code(s) or links to external websites; (ii) any losses related to Codes, including use and redemption of Codes; (iii) any malfunctions or other problems of any nature whatsoever, including, without limitation, those relating to computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment or software; (iv) the failure of any information to be received, captured or recorded for any reason whatsoever, including, but not limited to, technical problems or delays on the internet or at any website; (v) any injury or damage to any computer or other device related to or resulting from participating in the Program or accessing the Website; and/or (vi) any combination of the above.
  4. BMO reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to adjust any of the dates, timeframes and/or other Program mechanics stipulated in these Terms or on the Website, to the extent deemed necessary by BMO, for purposes of verifying compliance by any participant and/or other information with these Terms, or as a result of any technical or other problems, or in light of any other circumstances which, in the opinion of BMO impact the proper administration of the Program as contemplated in these Terms, or for any other reason.
  5. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English version of these Terms and disclosures or other statements contained in any Program-related materials, including, but not limited to, advertising and/or the French version of these Terms, the terms and conditions of these English Terms shall prevail, govern and control to the fullest extent permitted by law.  
  6. If you are a resident of Canada or any other jurisdiction (except the United States): To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Terms or the rights and obligations of participants, BMO or any of the other the Released Parties in connection with the Program will be governed by and construed in accordance with the domestic laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other jurisdiction’s laws.  The parties hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts located in Ontario in any action to enforce (or otherwise relating to) these Terms or relating to this Program.
     

    If you are a resident of the United States: To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Terms or the rights and obligations of participants, BMO or any of the other the Released Parties in connection with the Program will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois and the federal laws of the United States applicable therein, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other jurisdiction’s laws.  The parties hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts located in Chicago, Illinois in any action to enforce (or otherwise relating to) these Terms or relating to this Program.
